Since this year there is a school link between Hun Sen Kampong Kantuot high school and its partner school in Belgium, Het Schoolhuis. A central topic around which experiences will be exchanged between the two schools is organic gardening. Last week a first activity was organized on flowers and plant cultivation. 17 teachers participated in training on flower and plants cultivation. These will beautify the school and be used to teach about agriculture and environment. 20 species of flowers were introduced and participants got the opportunity to prepare soil and select flowers for their school. All participants found the workshop very interesting and are inspired to organize their own garden in the campus. Het Schoolhuis intends to organize a similar activity, setting up a garden on its campus.
